I left studies after 10th . Now i want to continue my studies again so please guide whether is it possible to complete my education in Bachelor of Arts from Indira Gandhi Open University ? If YES then what is the process?

Sorry dear, you cannot be 10th standard passout and apply for IGNOU BA. For this or for any other graduation course, you will have to be a higher secondary degree holder. You can also be a passout from any equivalent course, approved by the government of India. The entire course fee is within a few thousands and that too well below Rs.10,000. The course is three years long. No other entrance examination is to be given. You will be directly selected based on your prior degree. So please complete your higher secondary level first and then go for the graduation course. Do log onto www.ignou.ac.in to enroll.

No, this is not possible to do the BA after 10th class from any university. You can take admission in the graduation courses only after passing the 12th class with 40% marks. You can do your graduation course either in the regular mode or on the distance mode whichever you like suitable for you.
Now i will suggest you take admission in the 12th class first complete it then you can take admission in any course. You can also do the 12th class from the open.

Yes, it is possible to get enrolled in graduation in IGNOU without doing Class 11th and 12th but you will need to complete the BPP course offered by IGNOU for such students. You should go to the university office and find out the correct career path.

It's totally no for this.
Because it is impossible to go for Bachelor Degree after 10th even though its BA. It does not matter that which bachelor degree is it, the only thing matters that in which subjects you passed your grade 12. So don't worry about BA right now, just continue your study and go for the grade 11 and grade 12.

Choose the subjects from below ones:
1. Medical
2. Non-Medical
3. Commerce
4. Arts

According to me, Arts is the better subject if you really want to go for B.A. Because Medical is all about hospitality and the Non-Medical covers Engineering, teaching, and other technical fields. And the commerce is all about the accounting and business programs like the back jobs.

So don't worry. Don't be stressed much. You are just a kid right now. Go ahead for grade 12. Then choose the field which ever you want to. OK. Have a good luck for your future. I hope for the best.

I discontinued my engineering course , but i didn't get my transfer certificate and 10th,12th certificates. Now i want to study in IGNO, but i have no original certificate . Can i study in IGNO ?

You can not do any graduation degree just after completing your 10th.If you wish to do the graduation degree course then you have to first complete your class 12th successfully from a recognised board with good percentages.

It is not possible to do the BA course after the 10th.BA is Bachelor in arts stream. The basic eligibility criteria for this course, is to have a +2 course from a recognised board with good percentile.


So you have to first do the bachelor degree course in any stream to be eligible for the BA course.

For Bachelors, first of all you have to complete your 12th and after that you can take admission in bachelors.

So after 12th you can complete BA(Bachelor of Arts) from IGNOU(Indira Gandhi National Open University).

No, not at all.. You have to passed out 12th standard for doing B.A. It is minimum requirements, you can't skip it. IGNOU or any institutions can't take your admission in B.A. on the basis of 10th only, you have to pass 12th for this.

After passing 10th you are not eligible for bachelor of arts course in IGNOU.
For doing BA you have to pass 11th and 12th with Arts stream.

After passing 12th with Arts stream you can apply for IGNOU for your Bachelors Degree.
There are other option for doing BA through regular courses.
Some of the top universities offering BA degree are:-
Delhi University
SRM University
Utkal University
Vadodara University
