I want to ask if I can do MCA after BCom(Hons). I had Maths in class 12 but scored 45.

Yes, yo are eligible to study MCA

but you give the entrance exam ,then
you admission in a good university.

* candidate pass 12th with math is the

MCA is Three Year Post Graduate Degree Course in Computer application Field.

And To get admission in This course you need to complete your Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university along with Maths as a compulsory subjects in 12Th examination OR in Graduation.

So, If you have study Maths in your 12Th examination, then you are eligible to apply for MCA Course. But the Admission in MCA Course are Based on entrance examination and after clear the entrance examination You will get admission in MCA Course.

So, If you are Interested to get admission in Top MCA Colleges, then for this you have to appear for the AIMCET (JAM) OR NIMCET Entrance examination to get admission in NIT's And IIT's. The Admission in NIT are based on NIMCET score and Admission in IIT are based on JAM score.

So, Maths is very compulsory subject if you are interested to take admission in MCA Course, So if you have study maths in your 12Th examination OR in graduation then you are eligible to get admission in MCA Course. But the eligibility Criteria are vary from colleges to colleges and if you want to check the eligibility criteria for MCA Course then please check the official website of Top MCA Colleges.

Well of course you are eligible to do MCA which is a three year course.If you want to pursue this course from top colleges then you have to take JAM exam which is to get admission to the IIT's and you can also take NIMCET exam which is conducted to select meritorious students for NIT's.

Eligibility for MCA:

You must have finished your graduation from a recognized college or
You must have done BBA/BCA .
You should have maths as a subjects in class 12th and you should have passed it.

Because other than science student also can apply for the MCA through mathematics in 10th and 12th.

Eligibility:

In UG degree you should have 55% marks + your entrance ranking.

Yes, You can do MCA after passing B Com. But you need to appear in entrance examination and then acoording to merit you can join the college.

Yes it is Possible to MCA for you.

Because The eligibility criteria for MCA is:

Any graduate who has passed or appearing for the final year degree examination in any discipline (Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering or any approved University) is eligible to apply.

Candidates must have mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 course or any one year of graduation.

The percentage obtained in maths in 12th is not required.

Admission to MCA is generally done through various MCA entrance tests.

Most institutes conduct their own MCA entrance tests but there are also some centralized entrance tests for MCA.

AIMCET (Entrance Exam for MCA in IITs.) and NIMCET (Entrance Exam for MCA in National Institutes of Technology (NITs))are two of that kind of MCA entrance test.

see these are the requirements for doing MCA along with you have to clear a entrance exam with excellent percentile :
Should be passed wth 50% in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics at 10 + 2 level.
OR
Should be a passed with 50% marks in any recognized Bachelor's Degree of minimum 3 year's duration in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects.

The eligibility criterion for MCA is:

1)you must have passed graduation (BCA,BBA,B.SC(IT,CS),B.SC(MATH,STAT)).
OR
you have to completed graduation with 300 marks of mathematics.

2) you must have Maths in 10+2 and he must have passed in maths in 10+2.

There is no age limit,

If you had maths in your 10+2 then you can definately take admission in MCA.

so dear you are not eligible for MCA exam.

Ofcourse you can do MCA,it has nothing to do with what you did after class 12.you just need to have maths as your subject in Std 12.

of course, you are eligible foe apply for this P.G. course .

for this exam you must have to complete your graduation.
also you must have passed 12th with maths.
there is no such age limit foe appearing in this exam.

can i do MCA through hotel management degree (3 years) i have done my 10 2 in maths ?

taken maths in f.y.b.com but not in 12th completed my graduate. con i do mca now.

in F.Y.B.Com you have a Math sub & also you req 50% in TYB.COM
in month of Feb MHA-CET From distribute
in the month march Ent-exam is conduct ...

I want to do MCA after completing MBA (finance) and BCom (H). I have passed math exam in 12th and have 'O' level certificate.

Shall I appply for MCA. What would you guys suggest.
