Re: Is it possible to get admission into MBA with 42.5%? Best institute for MBA in Distance Learning?
dear friend,
to get into a good and reputed business school, you need to write the CAT(common admission test) exam and score well in that. so your graduation mark is not taken into account seriously most of the time. and so the good news is that you can do mba. now, many reputed institutions like the IIMs take CAT into account. there are several other exams to get into good business schools like the MAT,XAT etc for admitting students to the respective business schools. full time mba is the degree course, wherein, you study mba as you study any other post graduation course on the full time basis. part time mba is classified as the correspondence and the distance learning courses. a full time mba is what i would suggest you as that would horn your managerial skills and would train you to be a good future manager. the best institutes are the IIMs. well, all the very best. study hard for the exams. God bless you. |

Re: Is it possible to get admission into MBA with 42.5%? Best institute for MBA in Distance Learning?
Yes it possible to study MBA, because to study MBA graduation marks does not matter.
Anyone who has completed his or her graduation in any field is eligible for MBA. To apply for MBA you can sit for the following entrance exams in India: CAT(Common Admission Test) is the most toughest entrance exam in India by IIMs for MBA. besides CAT you can also give which is less tougher as compared to CAT. they are: MAT(Management Aptitude Test by AIMA) XAT(MBA Entrance Test by XLRI Jamshedpur) JMET(Joint Management Entrance Test by IITs) SNAP[Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP)] ATMA(AIMS Test for Management Admission) MAH-CET(Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test) FMS Delhi University Entrance Test Faculty of Management Studies IGNOU OPENMAT - Indira Gandhi National Open University Management Admission Test IBSAT - ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test. A full time MBA is best for you. A part time MBA is known as correspondence MBA. For distance MBA, Symbiosis is the best, But you should do Full time MBA. |

Re: Is it possible to get admission into MBA with 42.5%? Best institute for MBA in Distance Learning?
Hi
42.6 is your percentage in graduation and not percentile. with this percentage you are not eligible to appear for MBA entrance exam. For MBA entrance exam you need to have atleast 50% marks in graduation for general category and 45% in case of SC/ST. Regular MBA is always prefered when compared to correspondence or distance MBA as it provide better practical learning. Since you are not eligible, look out for management seat in good MBA college. Re: Is it possible to get admission into MBA with 42.5%? Best institute for MBA in Distance Learning?
i think its typical join MBA with such a percentage
to do MBA in good universities we need to write CAT ( common admission test ) it needs 60% minimum percentage to qualify sooo i think its better to choose any other study for your bright future al the best.... |

Re: Is it possible to get admission into MBA with 42.5%? Best institute for MBA in Distance Learning?
Hello Sir,
I am keenly interested to pursue the MBA Degree (Distance/Correspondence) course from any University of India, percentile wise I am not superior in my B.Com result, it was just 44.25% in the year of 1999, I do have more than 10 years of working experience, now it is needed to grab MBA degree for further betterment. Would like to know if there have any chance for me to pursue the MBA course from any university on Distance/Correspondence basis having only 44.25% in General category. Please advice. Also need to know the Fee structure....Thank you... Regards Prithviraj |
