sir, my state of eligibility is andhra pradesh but i'm from tamil nadu. Is it possible to get nit trichy through home state quota?

The State Code of Eligibility is decided on the basis of state from which students
qualify the 10+2 board exams.
In AIEEE the State Code of Eligibility is not decided on the basis of domicile.
Therefore you state code of eligibility is Andhra Pradesh state only
so you could get admission on the basis of Home State Quota only in the colleges
present in Andhra Pradesh. You can't get the privilege of Home State Quota in
any other state.

National Institute of Technology, Warangal is also one of the top 5 NITs.
You could get admission in NIT Warangal on the basis of Home State Quota.

It is almost not possible to secure a seat in any NIT with the rank you have secured since the cut-off goes high here. So, I would suggest you to also lookout for other good colleges/universities like: Thapar, Lovely Professional University (LPU), AMU, PEC, TIFR....; which provide good placements and better education as well. Some of these universities (like LPU) also give scholarships to students (based on good percentage in qualifying exam).

Do obc certificate of home state lays any importance while taking admission in nit through jee mains in home state?
