LLB is an undergraduate degree in law & to be eligible for this course you must have completed your Intermediate examination. If you want to do LLB course, then you must have to score minimum 45% marks in your intermediate examination. If you have already completed your Intermediate examination, then you are eligible to apply for this course.

To get admission in top Law colleges, i.e. National Law School, NALSAR, Gujarat National Law University, National University of Study and Research in Law, etc. you have to clear the CLAT (Common Law Admission Test).

To appear for a CLAT Entrance test, your age should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2015.

Well, some universities have withdrawn the upper age limit for candidates who want to take admissions in its LLB course. It means there is no upper age limit to apply for LLB course in some law colleges i.e. Allahabad University.

There is no upper age limit for admission into PG Programs.

If your age is 42 years, then you are eligible to take admission in LLB course in some colleges, I suggest you to please contact some Law colleges and clear your doubt.
