Herewith I have attached the syllabus,exam pattern and question papers.

Syllabus:

RBI officer recruitment 2011 exam pattern consists of Phase 1 and Phase 2.

Phase I

Phase 1 consists of objective type questions, which will be conducted on December 18 2011. There will be 4 tests in Phase 1 examination, which includes the following

* General awareness test

* English language test

* Quantitative aptitude test

* Reasoning test

Maximum marks for Objective type test is 200. Each test contains 50 marks each. Candidate has to score minimum marks in each test to get selection for Phase 2 exam.

Phase II

Phase 2 consists of Descriptive type test. Candidates who attain minimum marks in each test of Phase 1 will be selected for to write Phase 2 exam. There will be 3 papers included in Phase 2, which will be in descriptive form.

Paper 1: English

Paper 1 consists of descriptive type questions relating to English language, which includes Essay, Precis writing, Comprehension and Business or Office Correspondence.

Paper II: Economic and Social Issues

Paper II consists of questions relating to Economic and social issues which includes the following

a) Growth and Development:

National Income and per capita income
Poverty Alleviation and Employment Generation in India
Sustainable Development and Environmental issues

b) Economic Reforms in India:

Industrial and Labor Policy
Monetary and Fiscal Policy
Privatization
Role of Economic Planning

Export-Import Policy
International Economic Institutions
IMF and World Bank - WTO - Regional Economic Co-operation
