MD Pathology is a 2 year course and the eligibility is MBBS from recognized university or Institute. The admission criterion is through an entrance test like All India PG Entrance Examination. B.tech is a 4 years duration course and for doing it you must possess some of the eligibility criteria for doing the course.

Eligibility:

The candidate must have passed his/her higher secondary (10 +2) with maths,physics and chemistry.

in andhra there is an exam called Ecet in order to apply for btech...
these people are called as lateral entries....
they can join directly in 2nd year of btech....there will be predefined ceats in every college like 10% of branch ceats will be alloted to lateral entries...
even student can change their branch based on their exam reults........
