Hi friends, I want to join Police Force. Right now, I am studying PCMB in 2nd PUC. I just want to know that how I can join Police Force after my 2nd PUC? Please let me know the procedure for joining? Thank you!

If you want to join Police department as an officer, you have to appear and qualify in examination such as Civil Service, SSC, CAPF, etc.

The required minimum qualification to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university.

So, you have to pursue bachelor degree to appear in examination. The age limit varies with examination.

Examination is conducted by UPSC and SSC. For more information visit at www.ssc.nic.in or www.upsc.gov.in.

The minimum academic qualification required to apply for police jobs like constable or Sub Inspector is bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for the job.

You can not join Police force after 12th. You need to pursue bachelor's degree first to become eligible for police entrance exams.

The procedure to join Police Force for 2nd PUC candidate:

After completion of Pre University certificate course, you must pursue bachelor's degree in any discipline of your choice. Candidates who have done bachelor's degree are eligible for police force exam.

They can apply for Civil Services examination to get into Indian Police Services. Other than that you can apply for SI examination in your state.

You can not join Police Forces after 2nd PUC course.

You can apply for exams like Constable, SI or IPS.

For selection in Police department as an I.P.S/S.I etc you have to appear and qualify in examination conducted by UPSC, State PSC, SSC etc.

For constable recruitment candidate with 12th qualification are eligible to appear in examination.

Entrance examination ( written and physical ) is conducted for final selection.
