I have completed my 10+2 exam with PCM.
What is the procedure of joining INDIAN AIR FORCE after 10+2

The three branches of the Air force are

• Flying,
• Ground duty
• and Technical branch.

The officer cadre provides opportunities for men with 10+2 / Intermediate (only in the Flying branch), graduates (all three branches), engineers (all three branches) and postgraduates (all branches except the Flying branch) in the various positions. Women with graduate (all three branches), engineering (all three branches) and post graduate degrees (all branches except the Flying branch) have openings as an Officer in the Air force.

You can join NDA for joining AIRFORCE.. by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is conducted twice a year....

Qualifications: You should have passed your 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics.

Age : 16 ½ to 19 years

This is applicable only to men.

To join in Indian Airforce after 12th standard,you have to appear NDA exam.

NDA exam will be held twice in a year,they treat as NDA-1 and NDA-2 exam.

Elgibility criteria for NDA exam:

• 12th standard with maths,physics and chemistry subjects.
• Age should be between 17 to 19 years

Your education qualification is sufficient,if age is also fulfilled then you can apply for the NDA-2 exam.you cannot apply for NDA-1 exam,because date has already closed.

Important dates for NDA-2 exam:

Date of submitting application form is 09/04/2011
Last date for submitting application form is 09/05/2011
Exam is going to held on 21/08/2011

10+2 students with PCM as subjects can join Indian Airforce by appearing in National Defence Academy (NDA) examination or by Technical Entry Scheme (TES).

Eligibility criteria for NDA examination is to be 10+2 passouts with any of the stream whereas for TES the candidate must have 70% marks in PCM.

After 12 standard you can join indian airforce only through NDA i.e national defence academy.

You have to clear a written exam first conducted by the upsc

Exam is conducted twice an year and the tentative months are april and september.

can i apply nda na exam to be held on 21/08/11, online if there is change in date of submitting application form of 9/05/11
