I AM DIPLOMA FINAL YEAR IN D.EEE, I AM INTRESTED IN TO JOIN AMIE SO, CAN I KNOW THE DETAILS OF JOINING, FEE ETC....

If u really want to do corresponding course after diploma then go for IGNOU it is a good university offering corresponding courses.
other then that you can do AIME course, it is equivalent to BE/B TECH only. and better to do after diploma.
and in each state there are lateral entry exams which will allow u to join B Tech in any govt as well as private institutes directly into 2nd year of B tech course

I m karan i complete deploma in mechanical engg from iase university
can i join to B.tec from Amie? At this time i work in L&T COM on catagari of j.e and not pramanent stoff

Associate Membership of Institute of Engineers

AMIE is a very good opportunity for diploma and non diploma science students to earn credibility of degree in engineering. This certification has been given status equivalent to B.E/B.Tech by Human Resourse Department of India. Certificate holders are considered to be eligible for Gate and all public service examinations. Entrance test for admission is taken twice a year in the month of June and December. For applying this examination one must be registered with the Institutions of Engineers, Kolkata. Candidates must possess the following qualification to be able to register themselves

• Three years polytechnic degree holders can apply for Senior Technician membership.
• Those who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry securing at least 45% marks is eligible for Technician non corporate membership.

Registration can be done throughout the year. Visit official website of AMIE and download Membership Form. Send it along with proper documents and registration fee of Rs. 5800 in the form of demand draft. Then you can apply for entrance examination. Winter reason test is scheduled to held on 1 to 7th December, 2012. Date of submission of application form is 21st Aug to 21 Sep, 2012. However those who have already sit for summer examination can apply within the time period of 21st Sep to 14th Oct, 2012. For more details visit click here

If you want to join AMIE you need to first get membership of technician from Institution of Engineers (India).

For this you can go to the website of AMIE that is. www.ieindia.org

the application fee for membership form is Rs. 350
and the membership fees is rs. 5500/-

You can download the application form from website by paying fees online.

First of you need to get the membership from Institution of Engineers (India). for this you go to the website of IE(india) i.e. www.ieindia.org and after this you go to the membership tab.
After that you can download the Application form by paying online payment of Rs. 350/-

Then you need to submit a draft of Rs. 5500/- to the Director of Institution of India and send it to the Kolkata.
