You should start filling the applications for the PhD positions at various institutes (in case you want to apply for the PhD fellowship). For example, you can fill the form of JNU, IISC bangalore (in case of life sciences stream)...you can search for the institutes related to your stream through internet...
Secondly, You can just apply for JRF and/or SRF post at various institutes where vacancies are available. If you are from life sciences stream you can subscribe to helpbiotech forums to know about the availabe positions at various places. If you would have mentioned your subject area it would have been easier to help... Please feel free to ask anything else... |

yes..i got my net certifiacte for june2010 through mail...now onwards ugc will b sending e-certificates to the candidates...do check ur email

What is the procedure for activating UGC JRF fellowship? Is registering Ph.d is mandatory for fellowship activation? If suppose mistakenly all my joining report and certificate for UGC JRF sent to CSIR complex, will we have to again sent to UGC corresponding address? how long it to take to get acceptance letter?

Respected members, I 've just applied for UGC NET 2001 dec(not CSIR) with specilization of environmental sciences as of now I am doing PhD.D in environmental technology subsequently after M.Phil in environmental technology Here my question is, my Pg degree had on biotechnology inwhich the concerned disciplinary (environmental sciences) not included so, Am i eligible to write ugc net in envir sciences and incase if I qualified in UGC NET JRF or Lectureship what kind of problem would arise and will i get stipend in this circumstances.
Please somebody help me. Thank you |

i have cleared ugc net & jrf (june 26, 2011) and got the result in december 2011... then i got the net e-certificate through online but i have not yet received the jrf award letter by any means... so when am i going to get it and through which means?

I am qualified UGC NET JRF and joined Ph.D with in the due time, and i sent the joining report to UGC also, however i didnt get any communication from the UGC, Could anyone help me how to proceed now?
