Is provisional admission allowed in IPU when applied for compartment exam?


My son compartment in Physical education in 12th exam (2018). He qualified the entrance exam for Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University for UG admission. He also applied for compartment paper. Can he take provisional admission in IPU?

My friend have a compartment in one subject and score 61.2 percent and he will try to do the best in entrance .... But can he get the admission because of compartment
