In order to join the Officer Training Academy, the minimum eligibility criteria are as follows:

To join the Academy, one has to qualify Combined Defense Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission and the maximum age limit to write the examination is 25 years.

OFFICER TRAINING ACADEMY

O.T.A. exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.

ELIGIBILITY FOR O.T.A:-
> Pass 12th with any stream from recognized board.
> Age limit should be above 19 year and below 25 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit (no major surgery)

Officer training academy wing can be get by the giving CDD entrance exam.This exam is conducted by the Upsc every year.

The eligibility for this exam is, to have a graduation degree course in any stream bur, from a recognised university with good percentages in aggregate.


The students who wish to appear in the CDS exam for the OTA wing ,their age must lie in between 19 years to 25 yaers.

Officer training Academy is a part of IMA ( Indian Military Academy). And IMA ( Indian Military Academy) is also a part of UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission). You can join Officer Training Academy through the UPSC ( Union Public Service Commission). UPSC released notification every year. You can check it on Employment News Paper.
