Right now i am in SyBcom and i plan to complete my graduation and while doing that can i give 12th science in private and then give CDSE after my graduation to join Indian air force??? Can you please provide me the complete details for the same? Looking forward to get the information.

The eligibility criteria for the CDSE are following:-

-The candidate must be an Indian.

-The qualification required for

Indian Military Academy/Officer's Training Academy-Graduation in any discipline.

Indian Naval Academy-Bachelor of Engineering.

Indian Air Force Academy-10+2 level degree with Physics and Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering.

-For CDS exam,the age limit for

Indian Military Academy- 19 years to 24 years

Indian Naval Academy-19 years to 22 years

Indian Air Force Academy-19 years to 23 years

Officer's Training Academy-19 years to 25 years

-The candidate should be physically fit as per the Physical Standards for admission to CDS exam.

-The exam process involves

*Written Exam

*Interview by Services Selection Board.

Candidate who want to apply must pass his/her class 12th with PCM.To join Indian Air Force candidate have to qualify NDA exam first.Candidate minimum height should be 16.5 cm.

Air force comes under NDA.NDA consists of many defence forces like Indian Air Force,Navy and Army.And Candidate must a citizen of India.

To qualify NDA exam candidate must be pass 12th with atleast 50% marks.Candidate age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years.Girls are not allowed to sit in the NDA exam.

To join Indian Air Force after 12th,UPSC conducts NDA examination twice in year .
To apply for NDA ,candidate must be of 16.5 -19 years of age and have passed Higher Secondary examination with Physic ,Chemistry and Mathematics .

Candidate need to qualify two stages for final selection .First one is written examination of two paper and after that interview of 5 days .

So, you are eligible for applying to NDA examination.
NDA(I) of 2015 is over which was conducted on 19th April 2015.
You can apply for NDA(II) which will be held in the month of September.
It is necessary for the students to prepare well not only for but for interview as well.
Both stages are tough enough so that without preparation ,it will be impossible to select.

Yes, you are eligible for Indian Air Force exam through NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.
