Please tell me is there is any exam for Indian navy. This exam for centre or what?

Through CDS examination one can choose anyone of
Indian Military Academy or
Naval Academy or
Air Force Academy or
Officers Training Academy
But the eligibility criteria is different for different academies.
The educational qualification required for IMA(Indian Military Academy) and OTA(Officers Training Academy) is
Graduation degree or equivalent in any stream from a recognised University .

The educational qualification required for Air Force Academy and Naval Academy is
Graduation degree from a Recognized University
(with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

The age limit is as follow;
IMA:
19-23 years
Naval:
19-22 years
Airforce:
19-23 years
OTA:
19-25 years.

The UPSC notification for CDS examination clearly states the upper and lower limit of
date of birth for different academies. The above mentioned age limit is for guidance
but it would be better if you visit the notification for the exam and then find your
eligibility for it.

I am pleased to inform you that there are mainly two recruitment exam for Indian Navy conducted by UPSC-Union Public Service Commission of India. These exam are as follows->

NDA{National Defence Academy} entrance Test

CDSE{Combined Defence Service Examination}

:: National Defence Academy - NDA ::

-NDA entrance exam is occur two times in a year generally as NDA I & NDA II exam. Only unmarried male candidates can appear in this Exam.



Requirements to Eligible for NDA Exam is as follows:
-------------------------------------------------

• For Indian Navy, You should have passed 12th standard in PCM subjects from central/State board or recognized school.
  
• There is no percentage limit mentioned for this exam.
  
• If you are appearing in 12th then you can also apply.
  
• Your age must be between 16.5 to 19 year.
  
• You must be citizen of India.

Selection Procedure for Indian Navy through NDA:

The selection process for NDA contain 3-stages->

1. Written Exam

2. Interview

3. Medical test.





Exam Pattern& syllabus for NDA written test:
-------------------------------------------

There will be written Examination for total of 900 marks in two Subjects

1. Mathematics - Maximum marks is 300 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.
2. General Ability Test - Maximum marks is 600 and the duration of the test is 2.5 Hrs.

The papers in both the subjects will consist of objective type questions only.

:: CDSE{Combined Defence Service Examination} ::

-CDS Examination is occur two times in a year generally as CDS I & CDS II exam. For Indian Navy, Only unmarried male candidates can appear in this Exam.



Requirements to Eligible for Inian Navy through CDS Examination:

• You should have Passed in your Engineering Graduation degree course OR in B.sc Course with Physics and Maths as a compulsory Subjects.
  
  
• For Indian Naval Academy your Age must be between 19 to 22 Years.
  
  
• You must be an Indian Citizen.

After 12th or after graduation you can join Indian Navy.As you are a diploma graduate then you are also very much eligible for Indian Navy.See you have to take information from different newspapers and websites when the vacancies of Navy will come and according to this you can apply.
You can also apply for NDA. There generally two examination are held for NDA, one is NDA-1 and another is NDA-2.You can also attempt both this two exam.
