Hey friend, I would like to say that u have opted a right option in journalism, particularly nowadays it has among the most chosen career option in India. Talking about eligibility for mass communication at the undergraduate degree level, you just have to complete your 12th standard of examination which u have done as mentioned in your query. The marks criteria based on the requirements of the institute in which u want to admit. Most of the institutes also conduct entrance test for the admission in mass communication.
Well i have done media communication course in my MBA programme.
You must be having a good creativity, good english , media knowledge,public relation knowledge, media strategy, marketing strategy etc.

You havnt stated that in which do you want to take admission into , ie for bachelor degree or master degree. However,
* for a bachelor in mass communication degree, you have to pass 12th class. In BA in mass communication product Design, Packaging Design, Advertising, Print Media Design, Illustration, Photojournalism, Commercial Photography & Cinematography, 3D Modeling / Animation are studied.
* 2-year master degree is also there for admission of graduate in M.A. Mass Com / M.Sc.VisCom.

No you can not join Mass Communication courses after completing 10th. Minimum educational qualification for various courses in mass communication is to be 12th passout with any stream.
