Re: Qualification and percentage of marks required to study B.Tech(Information Technology) in top universities?
B.Tech (Information Technology) stands for Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology course. It is a four-year undergraduate degree course in the field of Information Technology. Candidates who have passed Intermediate or equivalent course with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects are eligible to pursue B.Tech (Information Technology) course.
To get admission for pursuing B.Tech (Information Technology) course in top institutions, you should have to appear and qualify National or State level engineering entrance examinations like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, EAMCET, WBJEE, etc., and some top universities like SRM, VIT, BITS, etc., conducts their own entrance examinations like SRM EEE, VIT EEE, BITSAT for offering admission in B.Tech (Information Technology) course. Y You should have at least 70% aggregate marks in your Intermediate course and you should have to qualify the engineering entrance examination to get admission in top universities for pursuing B.Tech (Information Technology) course. |

Re: Qualification and percentage of marks required to study B.Tech(Information Technology) in top universities?
B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology and it is four year duration course from any recognised university after 10+2.
To get admission in the better institution in the course candidates have to qualify in entrance examination conducted as JEE or other state government. The admission is not conducted on the basis of aggregate in 10+2. So, you have to appear for entrance examination for admission in better or top institutions. Some of entrance examination are :- BITSAT. JEE. VITEEE. After qualifying eligible to get admission in the course. |

Re: Qualification and percentage of marks required to study B.Tech(Information Technology) in top universities?
Marks do not matter a lot for the admission in B.tech Course. The main thing which matter for the admission in Engineering course is candidate national level rank in the respective entrance exams. Admission in B.tech course is given either on the basis of entrance exam rank or through direct admission process. For the direct admission you will have to pay some amount of donation to the college and only 15% seats in any college are given for the management quota.
But if are going through rank in entrance exam then you will have to go through counseling process. And you can get any seat in any college as per your rank only. So its better to go take admission only on the basis of your rank in entrance exams. The list of entrance exams conducted for admission in B.tech courses are : IIT-JEE, BITSAT, BIHER, UPTU CET, AMU CET, MPTU JEE, KIITEE, KEAM, EAMCET , AMIE, ECET, CUSAT, PGEE, LPU-CET, COMED-K, VTU-CET etc... |
