Qualification required for NDA exam, conducted by UPSC are as follows Army Wing- Candidate must have passed the +2 level of examination from a recognized board. Air Force and Naval Wing- Candidate must have passed +2 level of examination with Physics and Mathematics. The age limit to be eligible for the exam is 16 1/2- 19 years. National Defence Academy(NDA) exam is conducted by the central government.
NDA exam will be held twice in year.For every year they release notification NDA-1 exam and NDA-2 exam. the qualification required for the NDA is that you have to pass the 10+2 board examination with a minimum of the 60% of the marks .....

To Appear In NDA Examination, You Have To pass In your 12th examination, because 12th is the minimum educational qualification to appear in nda examination.
But the eligiblity criteria are vary form post to post. So please check the eligiblity criteria, if you are intrested to apply for NDA Examination - For Army Wing of National Defence Academy - 12th Class pass or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy - 12th Class pass or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics, conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

UPSC conducts NDA exam every year to select candidates for its army wing,air force and naval wing.......... getting in any of these is the biggest thing you can dream for........THE qualification needed to give the NDA exams are: 1.)YOU SHOULD HAVE COMPLETED YOUR 12th or be an appearing candidate for +2 in the same year of giving NDA exam...... 2.)AGE CRITERIA........you should fall in the age group 16 1/2- 19 years....... 3.)after qualifying the written exam you need to appear for a practical test where they will take: group discussion, personal interview, physical test, medical test..... after qualifying in all the above you will be admitted in one of the wings as per your ability and their judgement........ best of luck |

NDA I is going to be Held on 17th of April for this You are Not Eligible because you have Not passed your 11th Class. But Don't worry For NDA I 2012 you will be Eligible. And yes One more Exam i.e NDA II for This year For this Also you are Eligible Keep tracking Employment news in the month of April for Notification because on 9th April Notification for NDA II 2011 will be published. Age limit: The age of the candidate must be at least 16 1/2 years and not more than 19 years on January 1st or July 1st of the year subsequent to the year of the exam. 2. Education qualification: The candidates who have completed class 12th and the candidates who are going to appear for the class 12 or its equal exam are also eligible to submit an application for NDA exam. For appearing into the NDA the following eligibility is there. Educational Qualification: A candidate have pass 12th having physics and mathematics as a main subjects. A 12th appearing candidate can also apply for the NDA. Age limit: The age should be 16.5 to 19 years. You can apply many times within the age limit. |

NDA exam is going to be conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.
Through this exam one can join into Army, Air force and Navy wings. Here is the eligibility criteria for NDA exam. For Army, One should have completed his 10+2 from a recognized institute. For Air force and Naval wings, one should have secured a minimum of 55% in 10+2. In addition, they should have Mathematics and Physics as the compulsory subjects in 10+2. As per the age criteria, one should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years. |

Union public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the National Defence Academy (NDA) examination to recruits candidate to the Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA). This exam is taken twice in a year once in the month of February and other in the month of August. Eligibility Criteria : Educational qualification :- Candidate must be pass 12th exam from a recognize board or University. The 12th appearing student are also eligible for this exam. As many entrance exams conduced by Union Public Service Commission every year,they are also conducting the NDA exam which means National Defence Academy for candidates who are interested in serving the nation by joining in Indian Army,Indian Navy,Indian Air force.
The exam is conducted 2 times in a year namely as NDA I, NDA II.The eligibility needed to write the exam are as follows: The candidates must be a citizen of India. The candidates must be a unmarried male candidate. The candidate must have a age limit of 16 1/2-19 years. For Army Wing of NDA: The candidate must have passed 12th class with 10th and +2 pattern in school education conducted by state education board. For Air Force and Naval Wings: The candidates must have passed the +2 with physics and mathematics as in their subjects conducted by the state education. NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY
This examination is conducted by UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(UPSC) every years in the months of January and July. for appear in this exam you mus have to complete your 12h in PCM (PHYSICS ,CHEMISTRY,MATHS) and you have scored at least 60% in 12th. Those who pass this test appear for intelligence and personality tests conducted by the Service Selection Board. NDA (National Defence Academy) is a Defence Service entrance examination which is conducted by UPSC twice in a year including three wings namely :
1. Indian Air Force 2. Indian Army 3. Indian Navy The eligibility Criteria for NDA is given below : 1. Nationality : You must be an Indian. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried candidate. 4. Age Criteria : 16.5 years to 19 years. Educational Qualification : You must have qualified the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University. NOTE : Candidates who have pursued Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply only for NDA Indian Air Force an Indian Navy.
