JAG stands for Judge Advocate General. Indian Army recruits candidates on this posts who meet the eligibility criteria:

Mode of Selection: >>Depending upon number of applications received, Indian Army Recruiting Directorate sets a cut off percentage and then shortlisting of candidates is done. >>Candidates who are shortlisted are called for Service Selection Board. There is no written test, so no question paper pattern. SSB is of 5-6 days which comprises of following tests: 1. Screening test is on first day of SSB, it consists of questions from aptitude, there is picture perception test. So who clear screening test and are allowed for further rounds, those who do not clear are sent back. >>Further, Word association test, GTO tasks, conference and personal interview is conducted on respective days. Re: Question paper patter of JAG examination?
Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks/percentage of the law degree. Minimum percentage for eligibility is 55%. If selected, candidates would be called for the SSB. The key point in SSB is to be yourself and not fake as the officials are well experienced and will figure out of you're lying. There is no prescribed syllabus for the SSB but as a law graduate, one should possess at least the basic knowledge about all kinds of law.
