Hi,
The Eligibility Criteria for IAS Exam which is conducted by UPSC every year is: A graduate in any discipline Age limit 21 to 30 years There will two papers in prelims exam 1. GS- Paper I 2. Reasoning and aptitude and enlish comprehension- Paper II For main exam you will have to select two optional subjects and also there will be a paper of GS and English and Hindi . All the questions in mains exam will be subjective type. For details check www.upsc.gov.in Good Luck. |

Academic Eligibility for IAS Exams o A degree of any of the Universities. o Candidates who are awaiting results are also eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination. Other Eligibility Conditions for IAS Exams (1) Nationality i. Only Indian nationals are eligible for IAS. (2) Age Limit i. A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination. ii. The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below: a. upto a maximum of 5 years if the candidate belongs to SC/ST. b. upto a maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes. Examination pattern: There will two papers in prelims exam 1. GS- Paper I 2. sir, i lost my 2 attempts in upsc, nd right now after accident i loose my right hand, means this is only for show up, so i applied for ph certificate nd i got > 40 % ( more than 40 %). sir am i applicable to go through ph category nd there is any problem because of not a fixed % in ph certificate,nd if i can go through ph category then what is my no. of attempts nd age limit right now.i gave 2 attempts nd 11-08- 1984 born. sir please clear my doubt bz right now i'm under pressur nd i'm so diverted from my aim , sir please-2 guide me .
