what is the age limit of class x student in cbse board exam?

my son is 2nd Oct2009 born will there be any problem when he will be appearing the 10th class board exams ? Pankaj Parmar

HI!
According to Rule of C.B.S.E the candidate apply for 10th board exam must be above 14 year.

And candidate apply for C.B.S.C 12th broad exam must be above 16 year.

The upper age limit is not define by C.B.S.E.

Hi Guest,

If the candidate is having an age of 14 years to 16 years he can apply for CBSE board.

If the candidate reaches 20 years the candidate will no way be eligible for the course.

The minimum age for CBSE boards is 14 years for class 10 and 16 years for class 12th.

Candidate apply for 10th board exam must be above 14 year.

And candidate apply for C.B.S.C 12th broad exam must be above 16 year.

The upper age limit is not define by C.B.S.E.

Sir, my brother is now in 9th. His D.O.B is 28-01-2002 & he will appear for 2017 in SEBA board Assam. According to his school he will not applicable for that year...

As per the CBSE criteria,

Minimum age limit for 10th exam is 14 years.
While there is no upper age limit but can give 3 attempts only.
