If you have completed 12th standard with above 60% marks then you are eligible for Postal assistant Exam .Your age should be in between 18 to 27 years old.

Postal Assistant Exam Eligibility Criteria:-

To sit for the Postal Assistant Exam you need to be a higher secondary passed student or its equivalent of a recognized board with not less than 60% of marks at 10+2 level. You should have English as one of your compulsory subject at 10+2 level.

It is important to be well versed in the local language of the State where you are intending to apply as this will help in communicating freely without any hindrance. But if you have studied Hindi at matriculation level then also that might work in your favour.

The minimum age limit for giving this exam is 18 years and this is binding on all categories and for general category the upper age limit is 27 years. There is relaxation available for the reserved category candidates.

Fro this post you also need to have computer and typing skills. While it is important to know the basics of computer, when it comes to typing your typing speed in Hindi should be 25 words and 30 words in English per minute.
