This is Jagan and i would like to know what would be the selection procedure for Depute Superintendent of Police ( Civil ) in Group I exam and when is that i have to apply and what is the age limit where i am a B.Sc graduate and very much interested in getting into the Group I services.

You should fill the form for IAS to apply for the post. Generally the exam is held in between july and august. The notification of the forms is printed on all the leading newspapers. The general qualification needed is for you to be a graduate and the age criteria for this post is for you to be in 21-30 years of age bracket.

selection of the candidate is based on the personal interview and written test of the candidate. The selection is also based on the rules and regulation of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC)

Firstly you have to face an exam conducted by state public service comission.

This exam is conducted in two phase

i)P.T. - In P.T. ,the question are objective

ii) Mains- in this part question are subjective

To appear in this exam you should have graduate degree in any discipline

and your age must be less than equal to 35years
