Postal Assistant exam is conducted by the deportment of postal govt of India .

You must completed the 10+2 with minimum 60 % of marks from recognized board , then you are applicable for Postal Assistant Exam.

If you are reserved category candidate then you can secured only 55 % of marks and required minimum age limit should be 18 years and maximum age limit should be 27 years and here age relaxation available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

The selection procedure is based on the written test and computer typing test.written test can be divided in to 4 parts such General Knowledge, Mathematics, English, Reasoning and Logical Ability

Selection process are- Written Test and Personal Interview .

whether the seats for particular postal circle is reserved for the people of that particular region or is open for all.

The postal and sorting examination both are conducted by the Postal Department of India. To sit for this exam you need to satisfy the following eligibility criteria:-

Eligibility Criteria:-

-You need to be a higher secondary passed out or its equivalent of a recognized board or university. At 10+2 level you should have 60% of marks in aggregate.

-SC/ST candidates needs to secure 45% of marks. For OBC candidates the percentage to secure is 55% of marks in aggregate.

-At 10+2 level it is important for you to have English as your compulsory subject.

-Age should not be less than 18 years and it should not exceed the upper age limit of 27 years as well.

-The state in which you are applying it is important to know the local language of that state to ensure fluent communication with the residents of that state.

Exam Pattern:-

The written exam will mainly contain objective type questions. For the exam you should give importance to the following sections: General Knowledge, Mathematics, Reasoning and English. The duration of the exam is two hours.

The duration of the computer typing test is thirty minutes. The exam has been divided in two parts. For fifteen minutes you will be asked to write a passage of 400 words and the next fifteen minutes needs to be used to enter data and figures. There is a fixed typing speed to follow as well.

please tell me sir,shall i appear in the written test exam of the postal assistant if i could not study local language of the State/UT of the postal circle concerned or Hindi as a subject atleast in Matriculation.

Sir...is written test and computer typing is on the same day to b taken...n if we have computer typing test then on wich language english or hindi...or both we have to type
