Hi,
There is a lot of competition for IIT. Seats are very few and competition is real tough. You not only need to be good, but excellent to shine among the rest of the candidates. Owing to the competition, self study some times does nor prove to be enough. So it is always advisable to join a good coaching institute who provide you expert training to tackle IIT JEE and crack it. Also, do not worry, you are not compromising for your 12th boards. Infact IIT syllabus is quite similar to 12th board syllabus, hence it will be like an added advantage for you if you undergo coaching as it will only clear your concepts further. You may consider the following institutes for coaching: 1.Akash Institute. 2.FITJEE 3.Bansal Coaching 4.Career Point. Also, you are advised to appear for mock tests to asses your status of preparation. Good Luck! |

yes of course you should take coaching right now....
this is the right time to prepare yourself for IIT-JEE... it won't effect your 12th studies. allot specific time for JEE studies.. and right now your main focus is 12th..... |

Re: Should I join a coaching after 11th for preparation of IIT-JEE?
Its totally upto you that whether you need coaching or not. Generally coaching is necessary to crack IIT/AIEEE examinations because guidence is very important that what to cover in this much sort of time and what is the exact syllabus. Every one know that prepration need forIIT/AIEEE is much higher than for 10+2 Boards. Even AIEEE is based on 12th but IIT is somewhat diffrent, each exam need diffrent type of prepration and efforts.
First analyse yourself that whether you need coaching or not. If it is yes than better to get it through some prestigious institute as there teaching level would be much better than ordinary one. As you are going to appear for 10+2 this year than you cannot join Two years integrated course (for 10+1 appearing students). You can join One Year extended IIT-JEEE and AIEEE integrated course which is of one year duration. For 10+2 apeearing students there is a special course for just AIEEE examination, so choose one of them. Crash courses are also available but according to me its mere wastage of money and time. Remember to give first prefrence to Board Examination only. |

Quote:
Because This is a Time a IIT aspirant Guy has to start prepare for IIT. At least if a guy will study only for 2-3 hours a day, He or She can Do it. Yes start searching For a Right Place Or a Right institutions i.e coaching Institution . I would say Bansal Kota is a very Good IIT coaching Institute. If you stay nearer to Kota or In kota then only Think of this, other wise Join any instition which is reputed like T.I.M.E or shri Chaitanya Nearer to your Home which doesn't take much time in travelling. Because Lot of people get screwed travelling travelling !! and they don't study after reaching home. So, choose your own choice, If you really want to crack IIT you need to go for Coaching for sure. Good luck |

Re: Should I join a coaching after 11th for preparation of IIT-JEE?
This is totally based upon your hardwork & intelligence.
One may crack the IIT-JEE exam with one year preparation without gap. But some candidate take 1 to 2 years of gap to crack it. Also there is no issue like that you need to join class to crack the IIT-JEE exam. You can even crack it on your own through self-study too. It's said that you should join class because it will help you in providing you with readymade answers & also readymade tricks to get the answer. They will act as torch bearers & guide to crack th exam without wasting time on unnecessary topics which are not important from exam point of view. Ultimately they provide you onll guidance but the hard work has to be done by you only. Its just that they solve your doubts & provide you with proper guidance. You can even join crash course but see to it that you prepare well in advance & don't keep pending your studies. |

Re: Should I join a coaching after 11th for preparation of IIT-JEE?
hello friend,
yes my friend you should definitely go for joining coaching institution for preparation of IIT-JEE...... the main benefits are: 1.)you will get a study atmosphere which is required for good preparation 2.)the faculty will be clearing your doubts and problems and clear each concept very clearly and you will be able to solve tipical problems yourself 3.)competition among students by frequent tests conducted by institutes will help you to analyse your level, your potential, your weak points and strong ones which will help you a lot... SO i will suggest you to go for coaching and don't worry your 12th boards results will not be harmed at any cost ...the institute will take care if that also........... best of luck |

first of all believe yourself .see this institutes will never gurantee you that you can crack iit instead of paying lakhs of rupees.invest this money in buying standard books and test series . and take my word it is just not about classes . einstein never join classes for the discovery of special theory of relativity . but what he did hard work and he was determined that he was right . and that what iit is all about . and the thing guidance . you can get this thing on internet many iitians post their experience how to crack iit jee in one year or two year .

Re: Should I join a coaching after 11th for preparation of IIT-JEE?
I think this is for average students which have less concentration towards their career..
If any students have fear of their career then he can manged his time and crack any exam. I think anyone can crack IIT -JEE by himself.. You have to know that CBSE is against Coaching centers. And now CBSE think that they will change exam pattern every year because they want to fail the coaching centers.. You have to study regular and properly for cracking IIT-JEE or AIEEE. Total paper of IIT-JEE, AIEEE and other exams are based on NCERT Books. None of question is not out of 11th and 12th standard Books. So firstly concentrate on CBSE issued NCERT books. |

dear friend,
You want to take coaching or not it totally depends on your capability & how much can you invest in your study. As you said that you don't want to compromise with your board exam , if you take any coaching institute it doesn't harm you it always profits you . this always helps you to gain more knowledge about anything your calculation become perfect. & so on...... so in my point of view you may take coaching institute but you have spend more times in study than before. best of luck............. |

if you want to take coaching, then the best coaching centers are resonance bansal fiitjee akash you can also prepare for the exam by yourself. for cracking iit jee exam, not only hard work is required but strategy is also required for preparation. you must first study from ncert books to clear your concept. after that i will suggest you to study from tata mcgraw hills for maths d c pandey for physics arihant for chemistry you must also for once try to solve all the previous years question papers to get the knowledge of pattern and difficulty level of the exam. while solving the sample papers, never see the solution directly. first try to solve the questions by yourself two to three times. if then also you fail, then see the solution. you must remember these tips to get good result. good luck. |
