Re: Should I take maths along with commerce or computer science?
I don't think there will be any stream in HSC with Computer Science. However you can have Commerce with Maths stream.
Below are the streams in HSC. MPC - Maths, Physics, Computers BIPC - Biology, Physics, Chemistry CEC - Civics, Economics, Commerce HEC - History, Economics, Commerce MEC - Maths, Economics, Commerce. I would recommend you to opt for MEC group with Maths and Commerce subjects so that you can opt for either Commerce stream or Computer Science stream in your Graduation as per your interest. If you want to have your career in IT or software industry, Commerce is no where useful. Just opt for MPC in HSC and B.Sc Computers in Graduation. If you want to have your career in Finance industry, then opt for CEC or MEC in HSC and B.Com course in Graduation. Be very careful while choosing the stream as it is going to decide your future. |

Re: Should I take maths along with commerce or computer science?
Commerce stream with mathematics will be better than with computer science. In Delhi University, for bachelor's degree in Economics, candidates without mathematics are not eligible. Mathematics help a lot in other professional courses like:
>>Chartered Accountancy course. >>Cost and Work Accountant course. >>Company Secretary course. You will have to do hard work to cope up mathematics along with commerce stream subjects. |

You can take mathematics along with commerce in 11th. There is an optional subjects we use to take, so you can take mathematics as an optional subjects.
