Sir,

My son has passed class 10th. He want to be a software engineer in future but he dont want to take science maths in class 11th. He is preferring to commerce with computer science.

Can he be a software engineer in future with reputed degree course while he is taking commerce with computer science.

no sir your son can not be software engineer while taking commerce
he can join computer institute for more knowledge
in accounting package like tally, word, &etc

Hello Sir,

If your son wants the engineering field then he will have problems in future as he is not having all the major science subjects i.e physics,chemistry and maths.

Both the software related courses in engineering that is Computer Science and Engineering(CSE) and Information Technology(IT) require the core science subjects in 12th as eligibility criteria.

Whereas if he chooses to study general courses like BCA/MCA he will also have problems pursuing these courses as these courses generally require maths as a main subject in 10(+2).

Being in the field of computer application also one can join the software industry not as an engineer but an application programmer.

So in 10(+2), he must have maths if he really wants to be in the software platform.

Rest depends on his choice now..Good luck for his future.

If your son is interested in commerce then its better that makes a career in that field. He has mentioned that he is not interested in science and maths, he certainly will not be happy in making career as a software engineer. In the commerce field itself he can make a career in areas like CA, CS, Probationary officer etc. If he wishes to be in the computer science field then make sure he takes maths in 12th standard. Also in B.Com make sure he takes Maths. After that he will be eligible to take up MCA.

It is possible for you son to become software engineer from commerce too.But he have to do BCA courses after completion of 12 class.
But one thing i want to ask.Is your son interested in commerce or having a fear of maths.but i want to tell that if your son study from science side then in future bTech computer sceince have great scope.

I am studying in Class 11. I want to go in computer line in future that has good value like 3D & 4D or may be Software Engineer or else but my main problem is that I am not having Science & Maths too! But I have interest in Computers .Please kindly show me a right course to do.

You should focus more in what you are weak..You can choose the stream as Science and can do some Computer Courses Such as DCA...You should also do B.tech..

HI,
I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for Software engineering after passing 12th with commerce stream.
Only Those who take Physics, Chemistry and Maths are eligible for software engineering.
You can do courses like TALLY, C++, JAVA etc.
