Should I wait for interview calls or join training in some VLSI institute? Is it true that VLSI provides 100% placement?

Hi, I am Gireesh Baghotia. I had completed MTech in VLSI design this month but could not find any jobs yet, so I am planning to go for VLSI training institute offering 100% placements like sandeepani in order to get placed. I wanted to know that i left colleget about 1 month ago and I am at home from the last one month waiting for interviews in semiconductor companies but could not find one. Here, I wantes to ask a simple question that should I wait for some for time or should I go for training in some VLSI institute as soon as possible. I am really confused here, Kindly help me and also suggest me some good institute for the training. I have heard about sandeepani VLSI that they provide 100% placement as they are saying to me. Is it true really....Kindly help me here .
Thanks and regadrs

Yes, its true that some of the institutes provides the 100% placement for their candidates But you should make it a written confirmation from them as some of them are just announce it for their institutes Advertisement & later refuses to do so.As you have already spent your one month & wait for the interviews in semiconductor companies but couldn't get that so it is advisable to you to join some VLSI institute for training as after getting that your confidence level arises & you will get enough experience related to your field which helps you when you work in a company. But don't forgot to appear for the interviews side by side & when you get a good job then go for it.

I has to be either rv-vlsi or veda-iit. They have good teaching as well as placements. But dont ever consider sandeepani. Ive had a terrible experience and though it has a good course structure on brochure, in reality the teaching is substandard. The marketing dept. does a lousy job of getting placements that pay a measly 5000-7000/month!!

Hi,

see there is nothing to be confused about.

Yes, there can be 100% placement in some institute. but please don't follow what they are saying blindly.

visit their centers and check each and everything with the students who are already doing classes there.

they are the only one who can clear the whole picture.

There is no doubt that VLSI is a good field , and there are lot of opportunities in this field.

so,go ahead.

best of luck
regards

hi guys don't go for any institute, self learning is the best. every institute in India is fraud the course is nearly in any institute will take up from 3 to six months. but if you go to any institute you will only find staff with half-knowledge (half knowledge is always dangerous) and staff will a b.tech or M.tech student who has been trained(becoz he is not able to find any jobs for himself in vlsi) in that institute, here in India people don't stick up with time and commitments (i.e the teaching staff does not come in time or suddently he will find a better job for himself and he will go) . they Say 100% placement and they will keep dogging you and finally you will get irritated and you will go to your home town looking for peace.so my dear friends don't waste your precious time in going to intuitions search and learn for your self and always keep your ideas and Scope Broad. institute will waste your time, money and your career.
