The Engineering Services examination is conducted in four disciplines.

Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering

You are required to choose any one of the above mentioned streams.

The pattern of examination is as follow:
One general ability test(Common for all streams)
Two objective papers of the selected engineering stream.
Two subjective papers of the selected engineering stream.

As you have not mentioned your stream so the question paper is not being attached.

What is your stream in engineering because the previous year paper of IES is different for different branch in engineering. Only civil, mechanical,electrical and Electronics & communication branch s eligible for IES exam. You can download the previous year question paper on the official website of UPSC.

As you have not specified us which branch IES paper you needed.
