Hi friends, I want to become a CBI Officer. I am studying in 11th standard with PCB stream. What I should do to become a CBI Officer. I need to know about the steps through which I can achieve my aim. Thank you!

CBI Officers are usually recruited through SSC CGL Exam. To apply for this exam, first you need to complete graduation course from a recognized institute.

As you are in 11th standard, so currently you can't apply for SSC CGL exam.

After passing 12th standard, you can enroll yourself in graduation course.

Note that, likewise Civil Services Exam, you will have to qualify three stages in SSC exam namely:

• Preliminary Exam
• Mains Exam
• Personal Interview

In Preliminary stage, candidates will have to face questions related to following sections:

• English Comprehension
• Numerical Aptitude
• General Awareness
• General Intelligence and reasoning ability

While in Mains exam, questions from following sections will be asked:

• Arithmetic ability
• Statistics
• English comprehension skills

Candidates qualifying Preliminary Exam and Mains exam, will be called for Personal Interview.

You are not eligible to apply for CBI Officer after the 11th standard, you just need to have at least a graduation degree. You must track the SSC exam to become CBI Officer.
