JEE stands for Joint Entrance Examination. The JEE Main results have been declared by Central Board of Secondary Education. The best institute to take admission on basis of JEE Main score is NITs, IIITs and other government engineering colleges.

You need to participate in counselling process for final selection of college and stream. You can choose stream of engineering as per your interest. All streams have good career and job opportunities. The evergreen branch of engineering are Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication engineering, Computer Science engineering etc.

You can choose any stream of your interest for pursuing Engineering course after getting your JEE Main examination score. If you are interested to become a Software Engineer then, you can opt for CSE/ IT and if you are interested in Electronics field, you can opt for ECE course. If you are interested in Construction field, you need to choose Civil Engineering course and if you are interested in Electrical field, it is bet to choose EEE course and if you are interested in Mechanical field, it is best to choose Mechanical Engineering course.

If JEE Main results are announced next stage to qualify to IIT admission process is JEE-Advanced. Below few colleges pick the candidates form JEE-Advanced ranks.
Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT)
ISM Dhanbad
Indian Institutes of Science Education & Research (IISER)
Indian Institute of Science (IISc)

Candidate who have not qualified for JEE-Advanced, they can apply in any Central and State level engineering colleges entrance exams for admission. Computers stream is good for better future.

For Engineering Admission, JEE Main is the entrance exam. Engineering Admission will be available based on score obtained in (10+2) plus JEE Main score.

JEE Main Exam Pattern
- Numbers of Questions : 90
- Total Marks : 360
- Exam Duration : 3 Hours
- For each correct answer, +4 marks will be awarded and Negative marking of 1 mark for each incorrect answer.
