Job opportunities in todays world is there after doing m.pharm. In quality assuarance, pharmaceutics, and pharmaceutical chemistry. M.pharm. In pharmacology/clinical pharmacy/pharmacy practice are important when you require jobs in clinical sector. Remember, doing m.pharm. With specialisation depends upon ones interest and skills in that subject because each and every field has got its own opportunities and one cannot say which one is more better. For preparation of gpat n.n.inamdar is thought to be best book(reviews by students), but you can follow other books even. You can also join various coaching center for preparation of same depending upon there previous results. In gpat 2011 there will be 4 sections, so try to strengthen your basics of first and second year even. Also give importance in adr and di section of each drugs in pharmacology.

As such we cant pinpoint exactly which subject has more job oppurtunities because it would depend on d future but right now medicine, engineering and commerce aspects like finance have a good scope. Dont choose a subject because of the job opportunities, instead for the subject itself because you have to stay and work with that subject for yeas to come so choose what you like and what you are comfortable with.

In present days M.PHARMACY has alot of demand in industries . The best specializations are PHARMACOLOGY, PHARMACEUTICS, ANALYSIS AND QUALITY ASSURANCE .

after these other branches like pharmacognosy, medicinal chemistry are better.
your starting pay scale may be low in industries but once you gain experience you will have a bright future.

hi
both pharmacology and pharmaceutics have their own importance

pharmaceutics is the pure specialization of pharmacy which has more opportunities in pharma industry you can enter into formulation research and development through this subject
pharmacology make you to enter into core medical research which has wide scope.. also you have opportunities in clinical research where you have to face competition from life science graduates
