Robotics or any programming courses if available would be ideal. If you are going for a career in software engineering, take a course in Java stream or Oracle stream. It would have been nice if you could have given the university name since optional courses offered could vary.

robotics is good but now a days everyone is doing that so you can opt for artificial intelligence/java/oracle/net/php....If you have a list of optional subjects provided to you by college from which you need to choose let me know i can help you choose better out of those...

Firstly you didn't mention which year you are?
if you are a 4th year student then distributed database or advance operating system can be a very interesting subject. apart from this you can choose robotics,it is very industry oriented. |

If you are doing B.E. from CS, then i will suggest you just choose robotics as a optional subject. But i will suggest you just choose subject according to your interest and select those which you have handle properly............... ok all the best. |
