BHEL is one of the prestigious public sector firms in India. The recruitment for BHEL is through written exam. The written test includes questions for electrical engineering. There will be questions from Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, Logical thinking, reasoning Ability, English also. The nature of the test is usually objective type.

BHEL has not prescribed any specific syllabus for its exam. Its followed from precious years question papers, that you can cover the GATE (Electrical) syllabus and that would be having BHEL syllabus within limits.
I am attaching GATE (Electrical syllabus) . Do refer it, and try to cover up as much as you can. GOOD LUCK |

You must have completed your graduation in any streams.
You should be not more then 33yrs.There is some relaxation in upper age limit given to the reserved caste students .For OBC - 35yrs and for the SC / ST / NT - 38 yrs The STI examination takes place in 3 parts: Prelims Main exam Interview Details are given as under: 1. Prelims ( Objective Type Paper) General Studies paper - 300 Marks (0.25 negative marking) 2. Main Exam - Objective Type (0.25 negative marking) Paper I Languages - 200 Marks English - 70 Marks Marathi - 130 Marks Paper II GS - 200 marks General Studies - 130 marks Intelligence Test - 70 marks Total - 400 Marks 3. Interview STI - 50 Marks |
