Dear sir, if there is any one year course in petroleum exploration in india,after complete B.E.,(mechanical).

M.Sc. (Applied Geology), M.Sc. (Applied Geophysics), M.Tech. (Geo exploration), M.Tech. (Petroleum Geo science ) are some of the courses you can opt for . They all are related to petroleum engineering study .You can do petroleum exploration in Andhra University but the eligibility is given as these - M.Sc./M.Sc. Tech. Geology, Marine Geology, Applied Geology, Geo physic, Marine Geophysics, B.Tech. Chemical Engineering.
You can also try for Petroleum exploration in Adikavi Nannaya University

I don't think if any university in India offer 1 year course in Petroleum Exploration but yes if you are really interested in making your career in this particular field, you can pursue M.tech in Petroleum exploration. You can pursue it from UPES dehradun which is India's first energy university. One of my friends recently got a mail about an institute called London School of energy Studies. I think they have a branch in Bangalore and Kerala. They offer 1 year Post Graduate courses. Maybe you can try them.
