RESPECTED SIR/MEM,
I m in B.E.(E.C) last year. and in the market there is not job for e.c student available.
so i want right guidience. i wan't step furthere in u.p.s.c. gov. exam. and give ur sugg. also
for masters....

ECE students can definitely get jobs in both the sectors. As you mentioned, you can try to attend UPSC exam. You can get in to defense services, civil services etc by attending this exam. You can also enter in to railway department after ECE. Also, a bank job for PO/Specialist officer is also suitable. If you are interested, an M.E/M.Tech/MBA degree will enhance your career opportunities as well.

You are totally wrong about the idea that there are no jobs for a ece student .Nowadays it is one of the most demanding branches of Engineering colleges.you can try for off-campus jobs.if not there is a chance for your postgraduate studies like MS/MBA for which there are entrance exams like GRE,GATE,CAT etc.So please choose your career path carefully.Best of luck.

Public Sector Undertakings

Most PSU companies offer jobs to ECE graduates. However they demand at least 60 percent marks in the B.Tech course. If scored less then you are not going to make it into Public Sector Undertakings. You would also need GATE Score. A valid GATE score would improve your chances of getting Public Sector Undertaking job. A lot of PSU companies call candidates with good GATE score for direct interview instead of written test which is normal procedure.
