My daughter graduate and obtained a degree in Civil Engineering. She want to appear for entrance test for M.Tech program. Which all entrance test are being conducted at national level for M.Tech admission? How she apply for it?

M.Tech is Master of Technology course. It is a two-year course.

Yes, you can appear for GATE entrance examination to get admission in the course.

GATE is conducted for admission in IITs, NITs, and for recruitment in PSU's. So, if you want to get admission, you have to qualify for the entrance examination.

GATE rank is valid to get admission in various institutes.

The entrance examination conducted at the national level is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. GATE is conducted by IIT or IISC for admission in Master of Technology in top colleges of India.

Eligibility criteria:

Candidates who have done bachelor's degree in technology or engineering from a recognized university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for exam.

The notification for GATE 2019 will be released in September 2018 and after that you can apply for the exam at its official website.

The name of all India entrance examination for admission in Master of Technology is Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering.

Examination conducting authority: Indian Institute of Technology.

Bachelor of Technology candidates can apply for this exam. Application forms will be available in October of 2018.
