IB ACIO stands for Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officers. The ACIO Exam is conducted to recruit ACIO in the Intelligence Bureau which proudly claims to be one of the oldest intelligence agencies in the world.

There is uncertaintly over what exactly ACIO does in the Intelligence Bureau. His exact duties are not defined properly due to the seriousness of this job. As you may know that Intelligence Bureau is responsible for internal intelligence in the country. The job of IB is to collect information about terror organizations and maoists and forward it to relevant department.

To become a Assistant Central Intelligence Officer, each candidate is required to appear in a entrance exam. On passing this exam, you would get to work in prestigious organization like Intelligence Bureau. Here are the eligibility Criteria to appear in ACIO Exam.


Eligibility Criteria

~~ You should be Indian

~~ The maximum age limit for ACIO is 27 years.

~~ You need to have a graduation degree in any stream to appear in ACIO Exam.

~~ The upper age limit is extended by 3 years for Other Backward Class

~~ Age Limit is extended by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.


Exam Pattern

There are two sections of the ACIO Exam:-

1) Written Test

2) Interview


There are two papers in the written test.

Paper 1

~~ General Awareness

~~ General Knowledge

~~ English Language

~~ Reasoning

~~ Mathematical Aptitude

Paper 2

~~ Essay

~~ Precis Writing

Note: There is no negative marking in the ACIO Exam


Interview

Those who will pass the written test would be called for Interview after which candidates will be selected for ACIO post in Intelligence Bureau.

IB ACIO stands for Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officers and this is conducted by the ministry of india.

For attending this exam, required educational qualifications are you must completed the any graduation from recognized university and here not required any percentage.

Required age limit should be 21-30 years and here upper age limit also available for reserved category candidates as per govt rules.

Selection procedure is based on the WRITTEN TEST and INTERVIEW, and apart from first conducted the written test and after qualifying the written test called for interview.

Written test containing the 2 papers based on the aptitude questions and with 4 multiple choice answers and here 1 mark for every correct answer and here no negative marks for wrong answers.

Exam Pattern of this exam is:

Two Steps:
1.) written test: in which question asked from following subjects:

• Reasoning
  
• Mathematical Aptitude
  
• General Awareness
  
• General Knowledge
  
• English Language

>> No Negative Marking in the Written Test.

2.)Personal Interview: After selected out from Written test you have to qualify Interview section.

Eligibility:

>> Candidate should be graduate through any recognized degree.

>> Age up to 27 years, there is relaxation up to 3 years in case of OBC and 5 years in case of SC/ST.

>> candidates must be an Indian.

IB ACIO Exam Details:-

Full form of ACIO is Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. For recruiting these officers an examination is conducted by the Intelligence Bureau. Last year an exam took place in the month of September for 750 vacant posts.

Eligibility Criteria:-

• The minimum qualification required for this post is graduation in any discipline from a recognized institution.
  
• The minimum percentage to obtain have not been mentioned therefore you have to manage the pass marks only.
  
• The maximum age limit for the candidates applying is 27 years if you are general category candidate.
  
• There is age relaxation for the reserved category candidates. It is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for differently-abled candidates.
  
• Government employees who have a minimum of three years working experience will get an upper age limit relaxation up to 40 years.
  
• It is expected that the candidates applying should know how to use the computer. At least the basics should be known to you. This will give you an edge over others.

Selection Procedure:-

The selection procedure includes:-

1. Written Examination
2. Personal Interview

Exam Pattern:-

The written exam paper comprises of an objective paper and a descriptive paper. The total duration to complete the exam is one hour and forty minutes.

There is no negative marking in the exam.

Paper I:- Mathematical Aptitude, General Awareness, English Language and Reasoning.

Paper-II is the descriptive paper which will test your English Language skill. Essay and Precis writing will be there mainly to check your knowledge.

The written examination for the IB ACIO will be held on 15/09/2013 for 750 Grade-II/Executive posts.


WRITTEN EXAMINATION PATTERN-:

It would consists of two papers as,

Paper-I->Objective type of questions.

1.Reasoning.

2.General Awareness & General knowledge.

3.Comprehension.

4.Mathematical Ability.


Paper-II->Descriptive type of questions on English language.

1.Analytical Capability.

2.Knowledge on writing skills.

The candidate might be asked to write an Essay on some given topic and Precis Writing on some given story.

The total time will be 1 hours and 40 minutes.

Assistant Central Intelligent Officer Examination and this examination is conducted by Intelligent Bureau Once in a year. This year notification has been already released and last date for receipt of application was also already closed.

Important Dates ::

• Start Date of Online Registration :: 13/July/13
• Last Date for Online Registration :: 13/August/13
• Date of Examination :: 15/September/13

Eligibility Criteria ::

• You should have a completed graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized Institution or equivalent qualification.
• IB ACIO have not been mentioned percentage criteria so minimum pass marks is enough to appear.
• You should have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years at the time of appearing.
• Relaxation is exits as per Government Rules.
• IB ACIO excepted that the candidate should have a good knowledge in Computer Operation as well as Computer Language and Candidate must have a mandatory subject.

Selection Process :: Written examination as well as Personal Interview.

Written Examination consist of Mathematical ability, General awareness, Reasoning, Comprehension and it is Objective Type Question and duration of the examination is 1 hr and 40 minutes. Paper II Descriptive type question and they check the knowledge in English Writing Skills and Analytical Skills.
