Yes there is Negative Marking system adapt in CDS Examination . So, for each wrong answers you may loose 1/3 Marks in your total Marks .

So, you should take Special care while answering the question . You should answer the question in which you have confident and Please leave the question you have not confident .

Information regarding CDS Examination :-

CDS Stands for Combined Defence Service and this Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission . To apply for Examination you need to Complete Bachelor degree from recognized University .

Any stream candidates ( Commerce / Arts / Science ) are eligible to apply for Army and Officer training Academy . But Only Science and Engineering candidates are eligible for Airforce and Navy Academy .

Final year candidate can also eligible to apply for CDS Examination . There is Percentage of marks require for this CDS Examination .

Age Limit :-

19 years - 22 years -->> Navy Academy
19 years - 23 Years -->> Airforce Academy
19 years - 24 Years -->> Army Academy
19 Years - 25 years -->> Officer Training Academy


You Must be Unmarried Male candidate to apply for Army /Navy/Airforce Academy . But the Both the Unmarried Male and Female candidate are eligible for Officer Training Academy .

You should be Physically as well as Mentally Fit for the CDS Training Academy .

About CDS EXAM:

->CDS exam stands for Combined Defense Services conducted by UPSC twice in Years.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream from recognized University.

2. There must be Maths, Physics and Chemistry you read in 10+2.

3. Final year students can also apply, but there should not be any supply. Students of B.Tech and B.E. are also free to apply for this.

4. Candidate must be unmarried and citizen of India.

5. Age Limit should be between 19-25 years.
