No there is only Online Application process.

The steps to follow for getting registered for the exam are as follows :-
Just go through Following lines to understand clearly.

->First you have to know about the fee towards application charges i.e.,

for General/OBC students it is 1000 rs.

for SC/ST students it is 500 rs.

There are two types of payment options for you i.e.,

Online payment that is through Net banking :- extra upto 30 Rs. can be charged as service charges.
Next is
Challan payment the challan has to be paid in SBI banks and also in Indian Banks..

after applying following whole procedure available online you should take print out.

after affixing and attesting the print out .. you have to post it to the respective GATE Zonal Office.

that's all this is all about application procedure.

What is challan type of payment and how will i apply for GATE through it?

Can you please make available the offline application forms for GATE? They are more convinient to be filled and payment too can be done conviniently!
