I am working in Indian Air Force and I have completed 15 years of service. Then how to join as Ex-Serviceman in SI Police? Is events mandatory for Ex-Serviceman? Is there any separate quota for Ex-Serviceman?

Yes, there is special age relaxation given for the Ex serviceman in Telangana state police.

The eligibility for becoming police in Telangana state police are mentioned below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The candidate should complete graduation level degree from any recognized university.
- The eye sight should be very clear.
- The candidate should be physically & mentally fit.
- The age limit should be between 21 - 25 years for SC post and 18 - 30 years for SC and varies based on the post.
- There is age relaxation for reservation candidates based on the government rules.
- For ex serviceman there is 3 years age relaxation.

If you meet the requirements then you can apply for the exam.
There will be 5 stages for becoming a police officer in Telangana state like preliminary Test, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Physical Eligibility Test (PET), Final written Test and final selection.
