Is there Bioinformatics subject option available in GATE?
I have completed my Bachelor's degree in B.Tech Bioinformatics. To get admission for M.Tech Bioinformatics which subject in GATE exam should I take? Is there Bioinformatics subject in GATE?

No, there is no seperate paper for Bioinformatics in GATE but there is a paper for Biotechnology which is some what same as your course.
And therefore if you are interested in appearing in GATE, then you can opt for Biotechnology as your GATE Papers. The list of 25 subjects along with syllabus for which GATE is held can be downloaded by referring to the link http://gate.iitd.ac.in/syllabi.php. |
