Bioinformatics student should give GATE Life Sciences or GATE Bioinformatics?
I m a bioinformatics student and i m in confusing whether i have to go for gate life sciences or gate bioinformatics? please reply soon.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. If you have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology or Architecture/Design or its equivalent or masters degree in science department then are eligible for GATE exam. GATE exam doesn't require any kind of percentage marks in 12th or bachelor or masters progrmme. There are no restriction for attempts in GATE exam. You can apply any number of time. There is no age criteria but your minimum age must be above 18 years. |

I'm a bioinformatics student and im not sure of which field of study i should give in gate application form as Bioinformatics is not listed

I am undergraduate bioinformatics student whether I have to prepare for gate for life sciences or gate for biotechnology which is the best and which book would you prefer for gate exam
