Yes, there is negative marking in DRDO exam.

You should be a student of engineering stream from a recognized college or university with above 60% marks from the following branches only :

Electronics & Communication engineering
Mechanical engineering
Computer Science & engineering
Chemical engineering
Electrical engineering

Final year students can also apply for DRDO exam.

Your age should be in between 21 to 30 years.

Relaxation for categories is given below :

Maximum of 5 years for SC/ST Candidates.
Maximum of 3 years for Other (OBC's) .

Pattern for DRDO exam:-

Section A: 100 questions based on you stream of engineering.
Section B: 50 questions is on following topics :
Analytic skills
Current affairs
General awareness.

DRDO stands for the Defense Research and Development Organization.

It conducts its own entrance exam. The paper of DRDO has two sections. Section I has questions from your core stream of engineering like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics Engineering etc.

Section II consists of questions from areas like current affairs, analytical skills and general awareness and knowledge.

There is no negative marking in entrance exam of DRDO.

The age limit is 21-30 years for candidates of general category.
