The group F Generalist position is a post offered by Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

The exam pattern for group F Generalist position consists of a written test followed by document verification. The written test comprises of 100 objective-type questions on general awareness, arithmetic, general intelligence and reasoning. The duration of the test is 90 minutes.

There is negative marking for marking wrong answers in the written test. 1/3 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The candidates will be called for the verification of the original certificates based on basis of merit of the written examination.

The cutoff marks for group F Generalist position vary depending on the number of vacancies, number of applicants, difficulty level of the exam and reservation norms. You can check the previous year cutoff marks on the official website of RRB (http://www.indianrailways.gov.in/)
