i will suggest you to read the book DESIGN OF BRIDGES BY JAGADISH LAL,
it will clear all your doubts regarding bridge design of concrete,plate girder and also pre stressed brides,

the book by v.k raina is all about the ways to construct bridges,the different methods and techniques used,it is not an good book from designing point of view but still its the best books to follow for knowing the type of construction to be used for the construction of an bridge
