MAT stands for the Management Aptitude Test which is basically an Entrance Exam for the MBA - Masters in Business Administration.
It is usually conducted by the AIMA organization whose full name is All India Management Association.

It has the CMS i.e Centre for Management Services which is a specialized division functioning under AIMA for these Entrance Tests and other services.

The Basic Eligibility Criteria to take up the MAT exam is that the candidate or you should be a minimum graduate in ANY stream or final year appearing in it from ANY recognized college or university.

AIMA takes these exams 4 times in a year i.e in the months of February, May, September and December. So you may apply for this anytime you want to apply.
