I am a final year student doing b.tech in EE. I have completed my 7th-sem. Am I eligible for giving the written test for the post of executive trainee in ntpc. Please send me a reply.

yes, you are eligible to give Trainee in NTPC for B.Tech (EE) student in 7th semester.

the criteria which is required to give NTPC exam is given below

1.minimum graduation in engineering with 65% marks in engineering.

final year students are also allow.

2.age limit 21-28.

You can do training after 6th sem , so after 7th sem it would be difficult to do studies on other side .. so do after 8th sem in summer.

if your marks are above the 70% overall then you can move forward to apply for the post of the executive trainee in ntpc......
if you are eligible then you can fill the application form and sit in the exam .......

i have 64.45% up to 6th sem and also cleard 7th sem can i apply for NTPC???

NTPC has two types of Trainee's :

1. Executive Trainee
2. Vocational Trainee

The Executive Trainee's are the ones selected brains from across the country who are recruited by the NTPC, and they are given trainee for the work of the company.

&

The vocational trainee's are the ones who apply for a summer or winter trainee for the industrial training purpose.

So Since you are EE 7th semester, you can apply for the Vocational Trainee position and undergo a month's training in the company.

But if you want to become an Executive trainee, then you have to sit for GATE exam and get above 98 percentile in it to get recruited by NTPC- The dream company for Engineers.
