Is it true that BHU does not admit Diploma qualified candidates into their B.Tech program?

I have completed Polytechnic Diploma directly after completing my 10th Board exams. Now, I wanted to take admission in Banaras Hindu University in B.Tech degree course. However, I heard that BHU does not considers Diploma and requires Higher Secondary. Is it true? Can't I get admission in B.Tech in BHU?

Yes, it is true that BHU does not admit Diploma qualified candidates into their B.Tech program. In order to get admission in B.Tech course in BHU, the candidate should have passed 12th class with science stream from a recognized board. My suggestion to you is that you should apply for the admission of B.Tech course in the other colleges because BHU does not admit Diploma qualified candidates into their B.Tech program.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
