Hi
The NEET stands for national eligibility cum entrance test. It is a new revised version of IIT JEE in which the questions will be asked like the IIT exam only, the multiple choice questions. The question will be followed by the 4 answers, out of the 4 present answers, one will be correct. This pattern also includes negative marking. Re: Which type of questions are asked in NEET entrance exam?
Quote:
NEET stands for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test. You can give this exam to pursue both undergraduate and postgraduate course in medical and on securing good rank you will get the chance to study in any one of the 335 medical colleges affiliated to Medical Council of India (MCI). This exam is going to be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on behalf of Medical Council of India. This has come as a huge relief for the students mainly who earlier used to juggle with multiple entrance exams. Now they can concentrate on one exam and give their 100% in it. To sit for the NEET Exam firstly you need to be a higher secondary passed out candidate or its equivalent from a recognized board and in addition to that you also have to secure 50% of marks in physics, chemistry and biology taken together. SC/ST/OBC candidates needs to get 40% of marks instead. It should be remembered that apart from securing 50% in PCB, you also have to ensure pass marks in each of those subject. In addition to that pass marks have to be guaranteed in English as well. This exam can also be given by the final year students. Please Note:- 85% of the medical college seats to be filled in by the State Merit list candidates and the remaining 15% seats by All India Merit list candidates. Exam Pattern:- Questions will be of 11th and 12th standard. There will be one single paper and questions will come from Physics,Chemistry and Biology. Mainly objective questions will be asked which means for every question you will get four options. Blue/black point pen should be used for marking responses. For every right answer you give you will be awarded with four marks but for every wrong answer one mark will be deducted from the original score. There will be 180 questions in total to answer and the whole paper should be completed in three hours. To get an idea of the type of questions that will be asked please download the attachment below.
